By registering for or attending this event, you (“Attendee”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Event Organizer

Understanding Her: Supporting Us is hosted by The WellPause Collective (“Organizer”).

By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.


2. Ticketing & Registration

• All tickets must be purchased through the official registration platform.
• Tickets are valid only for the named registrant.
• Entry is granted only with valid ticket confirmation (digital or printed).
• Attendees must be 18 years of age or older.

Hosted tables include reserved seating but do not alter attendee conduct requirements.


3. Cancellations & Refund Policy

• Refund requests must be submitted in writing.
• Refunds are available up to 30 days prior to the event date, minus a $25 processing fee.
• Within 30 days of the event, all ticket sales are final.
• Refunds will not be issued for illness, scheduling conflicts, travel disruptions, or personal circumstances.

If the event is canceled by the Organizer, full refunds will be issued.

If the event is rescheduled, tickets will automatically transfer to the new date.


4. Program & Speaker Changes

The Organizer reserves the right to modify the event schedule, speakers, or program content at any time if necessary.

Speaker perspectives are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Organizer.


5. Educational Disclaimer

This event is educational in nature.

Information shared during the event does not constitute medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice and is not a substitute for individualized professional care.

Attendees should consult qualified healthcare providers regarding personal health concerns.


6. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability

Attendance is voluntary.

By attending, you acknowledge that:

• You participate at your own risk.
• The Organizer, venue, speakers, and partners are not liable for injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
• The Organizer is not responsible for personal decisions made based on information shared during the event.


7. Conduct & Safety

This event is designed as a respectful, supportive environment.

The Organizer reserves the right to remove any attendee engaging in:

• Disruptive behavior
• Harassment or intimidation
• Unsafe conduct
• Disrespectful or inappropriate interaction

Removal will occur without refund.

Attendees must follow all venue safety guidelines in effect at the time of the event.


8. Photography & Media

By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional or educational use.

Images and recordings may be used on:

• Event websites
• Social media platforms
• Marketing materials

If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify event staff at check-in.


9. Sponsorship Recognition

Event sponsors receive recognition as outlined in sponsorship agreements.

This event does not include vendor booths or sales tables unless explicitly stated in sponsorship terms.


10. Force Majeure

The Organizer is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Public health emergencies
• Government restrictions
• Venue closure
• Acts of God

In such circumstances, the Organizer may reschedule the event or provide refunds at its discretion.


11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
